Welcome to our comprehensive Microblading training program.

Our Zo & Co cosmetics beginners microblading training course is perfect for students with zero experience, but equally our course will help any experienced technician gain the best skills to create the best work in the industry.

We’re sure that the reason you’re here is because you agree that microblading is the most natural, and beautiful form of semi-permanent make up. There is nothing that compares to the results that microblading gives, and its the total ‘clean girl aesthetic’ vibe that will never go out of fashion.

This is a highly intensive 2.5 day course mastering the art, one hair stroke at a time.

Our classes are held 1-1 which means that you will get all of the personalised help and support you need. Our 2.5 days are split between theory, practical, and troubleshooting. There’s lots to learn so get ready to delve into our comprehensive topics and hands-on sessions that will equip you with the skills to thrive in the microblading industry!

On Day 1, you'll dive into an immersive in-person training experience. We'll guide you through an array of essential topics, ensuring you acquire the skills and knowledge necessary for a successful career in microblading.

We go through your extensive, luxury, microblading kit, worth over £700 and talk you through all the goodies you won’t be able to be without!

Day 1 - THEORY

Throughout the day, we'll explore a comprehensive microblading manual covering topics such as:

- Client suitability & consultations

- Contraindications & contra-actions

- Anatomy of the skin, including its three major layers and healing phases

- Understanding the Fitzpatrick scale

- Mastering color theory

- Establishing hygiene and proper disposal of sharps

- Prioritizing sanitation and personal protective equipment (PPE)

- Two different mapping techniques: the fluffy brow and the defined brow

- Delving into pigment tone and color mixing

- Understanding the functionality of various blades

- Learning Zo's signature techniques, including positioning and style

- Identifying indispensable tools of the trade

- Achieving the correct depth for microblading

- Handling different skin types and client expectations

- Working over previous permanent makeup (PMU)

- Exploring microshading

- Explaining touch-up sessions and aftercare

- Emphasizing health and safety standards

- Navigating licensing and insurance requirements

- Mastering social media and branding strategies

- Elevating your photography and lighting skills

- Identifying essential apps for your microblading business

OUR SIGNATURE 5 STEP STROKE PATTERN

1. This stroke pattern will be the reason you stand out from other artists. It’s foolproof. It will always carry you through, no matter what kind of brows are placed in front of you.

   On day 1, it’s our mission to ensure you complete both the left and right eyebrow in the stroke pattern we teach. This is the fun part!

Day 2 - Practical

On day 2 you will have the opportunity to work on a client with Zo, so you can get a feel for the skin and depth (with full guidance) tracing over already made hair strokes. This will count as case study 1.

On practical day we cover the complete treatment run through, we go through trolley set up, hygiene, consultation, consent forms, cleanse, photographs & content, colour selection, pre draw, first pass, depth control, second pass, perfecting, after shots and content.

Case study 2 will be done on the same day, and this client procedure will, too be under the complete guidance of Zo, which you will complete with full support.

Essentially we want you to experience being hands on with the client to familiarise yourself with the treatment.

Day 3 - 3.5 hours

Day 3 is a huge recap on our 2 days, and also can be booked for the week after. We find its amazing to talk about the treatment once you have actually done it, and this way we’re sure you will have lots of questions that we will be ready to answer! Stroke pattern latex work can also be gone over, or anything that the student wants extra help with, whether that be social media, latex, general troubleshooting- we have got you covered!

At home you will be completing your stroke pattern work which we have been learning over the 3 days. Once your stroke pattern training has been perfected (verified through submitted photos of your practice work via WhatsApp), you'll advance to your last 2 case studies, which will be done in your own time, a crucial step toward course completion.

Throughout your training, you'll have access to continuous guidance and support. Zo will be available via WhatsApp to assist you whenever needed. We believe in fostering a supportive learning environment, so we will always be keeping our groups small.

We currently offer 1-2-1 training allowing new artists to receive personalised attention, allowing us to tailor the guidance to your specific needs and skill level. Ultimately the nature of 1-2-1 enhances your technique more efficiently and ensures you have maximum understanding of microblading to boost your confidence.
